Cobra Starship's Gabe Saporta and fashion designer Erin Fetherston are engaged, the clothier told The New York Post's Page Six.
Dating since 2010, Saporta proposed to Fetherston on New Year's Eve while vacationing in Barbados. "I'm getting married this spring, so I wanted to balance my energy between Fashion Week and planning," Fetherston explained. "I have a really gorgeous ring, but it's being sized."
Created by Lorraine Schwartz (Beyonce and Blake Lively's go-to jewelry designer), Fetherston's emerald-cut diamond is set in a pave basket on a pave band.
Fetherston, naturally, will design her own wedding gown. "It's gonna be a reflection of my aesthetic —- so romantic, fairy tale," she told Page Six.
Cobra Starship — known for hits like "Good Girls Go Bad" and "Hot Mess" — is readying the release of their untitled fifth album, a follow-up to 2011's Night Shades. Fetherston unveiled her Fall 2013 ready-to-wear collection on Feb 7 during New York Fashion Week.
