The pair held hands on the carpet as they walked inside the star-studded event, and after Wood was awarded Best Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in HBO’s Westworld, she ran right into Villa’s waiting arms. The two shared an intimate kiss on the lips, and Villa’s arm stayed wrapped around the actress throughout the show.

Following the award ceremony, the True Blood alum, 29, and her date enjoyed the afterparty hand in hand. They spent the entire evening side by side before taking to the dance floor.

The Thirteen star met Villa last year when they performed together in L.A. at a John Hughes–themed cabaret. In fact, the Breakfast Club director inspired the name for Wood and Villa’s band, Rebel and a Basketcase, who released their first album in September.

The Mildred Pierce actress was engaged to musician Marilyn Manson from 2006-2010, before the two officially ended their on-and-off relationship. In 2012, the award-winning actress reunited with and married her ex-boyfriend, Jamie Bell, and the two welcomed a son together in 2013 before announcing their split in 2014.

Wood has also been vocal about her bisexuality and has spoken out against the “many negative connotations” and perceptions about her sexual identity. During an interview with Motto in July, she admitted she felt “shame and depression” after being criticized, and believes bisexual “erasure is causing harm and diminishing self-esteem.” The actress-turned-activist said she wants “people to know that it’s ok, [bisexuality] is valid, and their stories matter.”

Her Critics’ Choice Awards win kicks off a busy awards show season for Wood, who is nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series Drama for her portrayal of robot ‘host’ Dolores Abernathy in Westworld. The critically acclaimed TV show is also nominated for a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series.

Us Weekly reached out to Wood’s rep, who had no comment.
