Evan Rachel Wood was born on September 7, 1987, in Raleigh, N. C. She shot to fame with her controversial role in 2003’s Thirteen, for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination.
Since then, Wood has exploded on the film scene, appearing in movies like Down In The Valley, The Upside of Anger, and a breakthrough performance in 2007’s Across the Universe. The actress has also made a name for herself through her appearances in music videos. Wood can be seen in the Bright Eyes video “At the Bottom of Everything” and Green Day‘s “Wake Me Up When September Ends.”

Wood and Manson began dating after meeting during the 2007 video shoot. In April 2008, the couple revealed that they got matching tattoos to celebrate Valentine’s Day. She and Manson called it quits several times, finally breaking things off for good in August 2010.
Wood married actor Jamie Bell in October 2012, and the spouses welcomed a son in July 2013.
