This is so sweet. Fat Joe shared a touching Facebook post on Sunday, Oct. 4, about his oldest son, Joey, who has special needs.

“I’m very private with my first born,” the rapper, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, wrote. “Joey is [a] special kid full of joy and love. There’s no way you could understand unless you have a family member who has challenges in life. He’s my angel and the reason for all my blessings. I love him to death #godisgreat.”

And on Monday, Oct. 5, he shared another photo on Facebook with Joey and his other son Ryan as babies, writing, “My two baby boys. You two are my heart and soul. I breathe for you. God bless my boys.”

The “Lean Back” rapper, 45, smiles in the sweet photo alongside Joey.

In an 2010 interview, the Terror Squad Entertainment CEO opened up to UrbLife about being a father to a child with special needs.

“When I had him [Joey] I was very young,” the “What’s Luv” rapper shared. “I love my son dearly, but I didn’t feel like I was ready to have kids at the time. He was a special needs child, I raised him with my parents. We raised him all his life. I had to learn the responsibilities of being a parent the hard way.”
