Rockin’ cousins! It looks like Fergie isn’t the only family member to pay homage to her rock ‘n’ roll roots. The singer’s sister, Dana Ferguson, has named her new baby boy Jagger, just five months after Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel welcomed their little tot Axl Jack.
“Now they have Axl and Jagger in the family,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “Fergie and her sister are also huge [Rolling] Stones fans.”
Fergie’s younger sister, 36, and her husband Ryan Sampson welcomed baby Jagger two weeks ago, and his proud aunt couldn’t help but gush about his arrival. “HUGE congrats 2 my lil sis D-Ball 4 bringing gorgeous Jagger James Sampson into the world!!” Fergie, 38, wrote via Instagram on Jan. 24. “Baby Axl can’t wait 2 play with his cousin!! #LOVE #BLESSED.” She also shared a sweet snapshot of the actress’ newborn.
As previously reported, the Black Eyed Peas singer and Duhamel, 40, welcomed their first child Axl last August, and gave a special nod to Guns N’ Roses when naming him. “Fergie is a huge Guns ‘N Roses fan — one of her career highlights has been performing and recording with Slash — so Axl makes perfect sense,” a source explained to Us at the time.
Now, there are two rockers in the family! And two for Fergie to spoil. “Mama got to hang with her lil homie today on the set of her #avonoutspoken shoot. #lilhomie,” Fergie wrote on Jan. 29, while holding up her son in a sweet snapshot.
