Fifth Harmony member Lauren Jauregui was arrested for marijuana possession in Dulles, Virginia, Tuesday, December 13.
According to TMZ, Jauregui, 20, was stopped at a TSA checkpoint while trying to get on a plane at Dulles Airport. In a secondary search, an employee allegedly found weed in her carry-on bag.
Authorities were called to the scene and she was arrested. The Dulles Airport PIO tells Us Weekly that Jauregui was later released on a summons to appear in court.
Jauregui was reportedly planning to fly to São Paulo to perform with the girl group Wednesday, but didn't make an appearance on stage. The quintet is also scheduled to appear at Power 96.1's Jingle Ball at Philips Arena in Atlanta Friday.
It is unclear whether Jauregui was with her bandmates — Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane and Camila Cabello — at the time.
Jauregui has been making headlines as of late. Last month, she came out as bisexual in a scathing open letter to President-elect Donald Trump.
