Frankie Muniz, 27, Suffers Second “Mini Stroke” One Year After First Scare

Frankie Muniz is "miserable." The former Malcolm in the Middle star, who turns 28 on Dec. 5, suffered his second mini-stroke, nearly one year after overcoming his first scare.

"Almost a year to the day, I experienced another mini stroke," he tweeted on Monday, Nov. 25. "Hopefully that will be the last. Miserable."

Following his initial stroke in December 2012, Muniz sat down on Good Morning America to describe the scary physical encounter: "I couldn't say words," he said. "I thought I was saying them! My fiancee was looking at me like I was speaking a foreign language."

The 27-year-old star added, "I'm happy I'm alive."

Muniz, who was once deemed "one of Hollywood's most bankable teens," chose to put his acting career on hold to pursue his dreams of becoming a race car driver in 2008. He currently plays the drums for his band, You Hang Up, and has been engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Elycia Marie Turnbow, since October 2011. See more pics of him here.

On Monday evening, several hours after sharing the news of his second health scare, he also told followers that he had sold his Smart Car. "Gonna miss that little b—-," he wrote.
