Looks like Freida Pinto has a new leading gentleman in her life. The Knight of Cups actress was spotted sharing a passionate smooch with pro polo player Ronnie Bacardi while out on a date night in Beverly Hills on Monday, Oct. 12.
The pair, who previously traveled together to Vancouver for Pinto’s 31st birthday, only had eyes for each other as they waited in line at specialty ice cream shop Salt & Straw after having dinner at nearby Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chao.
Both were dressed casually for the night out, with Pinto in a printed jumper and black blazer and Bacardi in a T-shirt, jeans, and backwards baseball cap.
A rep for the Slumdog Millionaire actress declined to comment on the budding relationship.
Just last month, Pinto gave a joint speech with her ex Dev Patel at a Pratham USA 20th anniversary dinner in Los Angeles. The former couple looked at ease with one another and seemed in good spirits as they spoke about the organization’s mission of ending the cycle of poverty by improving the education and literacy rates of children in India.
As Us Weekly exclusively reported, the pair split in December 2014 after six years together, but they have since only had the best to say about each other.
“Everybody has their own little discoveries to make,” Pinto told USA Today in April. “Their own surprises, their own disappointments, and they’re all part and parcel of life. There is no way one person can sit down and go, ‘But why did this happen to me?’ Or, ‘It was all going well, what the hell happened?’ Or, ‘No, this just can’t be,’ the denial of it.”
“Running away from it is not going to help you find your answers,” she continued. “So we’re facing it. And we’re dealing. And Dev and I are best friends. That’s never going to change.”
