No fair! Carrie Underwood is jealous that her husband, Mike Fisher, got to sing with country legend Garth Brooks before she did.
The NHL stud, 35, shared an Instagram video on Wednesday, April 6, of himself pairing up with Brooks to serenade his wife.
“Soooo this happened tonight!!!… @garthbrooks is the best!” Fisher wrote alongside the video. In the clip, Brooks tells the camera, “I’m going to send this out to my sweetheart, my girlfriend, Carrie Underwood. Carrie, little song for you,” before breaking out his hit track “The River” as Fisher joins in.
“How is it that my hubby, @mfisher1212 gets to sing with THE @garthbrooks before I do?” Underwood responded, sharing an extended version of the clip on her own Instagram account. “As payback, I think I’ll try to see if Wayne Gretzky wants to play a pick up hockey game sometime!”
This isn’t the first time that the couple, who are parents of 13-month-old son Isaiah, have gotten excited over Brooks.
“#IAlwaysWantedToMarryGarth @mfisher1212 duet coming soon…,” the Grammy winner captioned a video of Fisher impressively singing along to Brooks in a car in January.
