Is George Clooney ready to settle down and start a family with Stacy Keibler?
Not exactly. In an interview with The Insider at Monday's 84th Annual Academy Awards nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills, the 50-year-old actor joked that he was "looking to adopt very successful people."
At the top of his list? Actress Shailene Woodley, who plays his troubled teenage daughter in The Descendants. "She's 20 and smart, and I figure she has a big career ahead and can support me," Clooney reasoned.
Another perk to adopting Woodley: she's "house-trained," just like his cocker spaniel Einstein. "I've got a dog from the pound that was already house-trained, so that makes sense to me," Clooney joked.
Clooney is nominated alongside Moneyball's Brad Pitt, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy's Gary Oldman, The Artist's Jean Dujardin and A Better Life's Demian Bichir in the best actor category at the 84th Annual Academy Awards, airing live February 26 on ABC.
