Gigi Hadid made a rare comment about her relationship with Bradley Cooper and how it feels “different” from her past romances.
“What’s beautiful about my current relationship and so different from what I’ve experienced before, is the ability to be deeply honest,” Hadid, 31, told Vogue France in an interview published on Tuesday, August 25. “To say what we think, when we think it.”
The model added, “If it’s impossible, it probably means it’s not the right person.”
Hadid also said it’s a “two-person journey” to create a “beautiful relationship.”
Hadid and Cooper, 51, first sparked dating rumors in October 2023 when they were seen heading to dinner in New York City. A source told Us at the time that despite the pair’s 20-year age gap, they “have a lot in common.”
“They’re both single parents to a young daughter, and they share a similar sense of humor,” the insider said. (Hadid shares daughter Khai, 5, with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, while Cooper shares daughter Lea De Seine, 9, with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk.)
Hadid made the romance Instagram official in May 2025 while celebrating her 30th birthday.
“I feel so lucky to be 30,” she wrote alongside photos from her party, including one that showed her kissing Cooper and cradling his face. “I feel so lucky for every high and low — for all the lessons and gifts both have brought me. To get to feel it all! I’m so lucky to be a mom, friend, partner, sister, daughter, colleague to some of the most unbelievable humans!!”
Hadid continued, “So lucky for the support and encouragement from all of YOU around the world, every day and on my birthday last week. I had the best time celebrating, and it’s a blessing to feel so loved!! I am grateful and honored to take on a new decade.”
Earlier this month, Hadid and Cooper sparked marriage rumors by wearing matching rings on their left hands. A source exclusively told Us that they are “promise rings.”
“They have had the rings for a few months now,” the insider explained. “Neither of them wants to get married or have a traditional wedding, but they are very serious and committed to one another.”
The source continued, “They are inseparable when they aren’t working. Their lives are fully integrated at this point and their daughters get along well and have play dates. They’ve essentially become one happy little family in their own way.”
