Is Gigi Hadid apologizing to ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas for her rebound romance with Zayn Malik? Maybe. The emerging supermodel tweeted and then deleted a cryptic message seemingly directed towards the former Jonas Brothers singer.
“Sometimes life just happens.. For whatever reason in whatever timing. And sometimes it doesn't make sense til it does. That's it,” the 20-year-old Victoria’s Secret model posted and then deleted on Monday, Nov. 30. After deleting the text, she later posted a scenic beach photo with the words “Chill.”
The tweets come after fans have questioned Hadid’s dating habits following her early November split from Jonas. Shortly after calling it quits with the DNCE band leader, Hadid went public with new beau Zayn Malik on Sunday, Nov. 29, days after Us Weekly confirmed they were an item.
After the duo stepped out holding hands at The Nice Guy on Sunday, Jonas unfollowed Hadid on social media and deleted a photo he had posted of himself with Malik.
And considering Malik’s fans are protective, they’re already warning Hadid. “Take care of my baby zayn please, dont ever hurt him or make him feel sad. i trust u gigi,” one follower commented on her Twitter on Monday.
