Gwen Stefani isn’t addressing rumors she’s dating Blake Shelton just yet, but she is stating the obvious! During an emotional and honest interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday, Nov. 3, the “Used to Love You” singer admitted that Shelton’s a good lookin’ man.
“Who is Blake? The country guy?” Stefani, 46, joked when Seacrest asked her about her fellow Voice coach, whom she’s been seen cozying up to as of late.
After Seacrest brought up recent photos and reports of the two getting extra close over Halloween weekend, Stefani quipped: “I think that NBC did that, right? Two divorced people at the same time.” The radio host then asked point-blank if the two were dating, and Stefani got real. “I’m not going to answer that right now, Ryan. I think I’ve given up enough of myself this morning to you, but I think he’s hot, don’t you?”
The No Doubt songstress, who split from husband Gavin Rossdale after 13 years of marriage this past August, added that “to be super honest, it is kind of crazy that we both went through the same thing at the same time,” referring to Shelton’s own divorce from ex-wife Miranda Lambert.
Whether she’s dating Shelton, 39, or not, Stefani explained she’s focusing on herself and her spirituality through “prayer and just trying to listen.”
“I feel like if you’re listening and you’re praying you get pointed in the right direction…my main thing right now is being grateful,” she told Seacrest. “I’m living in the moment, you know what I’m saying? I’m actually so grateful just to feel so alive. Honestly, I’m feeling everything so much and that’s great. The sadness, the happiness, the extremes are really extreme right now.”
