I see…Haley Joel Osment!? The former child star looked unrecognizable when he was photographed on set of his upcoming action film Yoga Hosers in L.A. on Tuesday, Sept. 9.
The 26-year-old beefed up to play an unnamed Nazi character wearing a black striped suit. He donned a mustache and greased up his blonde locks for a slicked-back look.
Osment’s new role is a far cry from his child star years in 1999’s The Sixth Sense and 2000’s Pay It Forward. In an interview this month, he spoke about the “double-edged sword” of early fame with The Windsor Star.
“I think it would be a mistake to consciously try and fight it. I’m very proud of those films. It’s a really happy thing,” he said. “You try and do something to try and shatter that image in people’s minds, it’s kind of not a nice thing to do to your audience. I think I would be trying too hard, you know?”
Osment costars in the Kevin Smith-directed project Yoga Hosers with Johnny Depp, Natasha Lyonne, Genesis Rodriguez and Adam Brody. It’s set to hit theaters on June 1, 2015.
