Hank Baskett Admits to Telling Kendra Wilkinson to ‘Go Play Around’ With Other Men After Cheating Scandal

Whatever makes you feel better, right? During a pre-taped interview for the Tuesday, April 19, episode of The Steve Harvey Show, Hank Baskett admits to encouraging his wife, Kendra Wilkinson, to hook up with other guys following his 2014 cheating scandal.

In a preview for the reality TV twosome’s appearance on the talk show, the Kendra on Top stars have a no-holds-barred conversation with Steve Harvey about their brushes with infidelity.

In the clip, Wilkinson, 30, opens up about having feelings for a “guy from the past” who had been texting her. “We’re very open with those kind of talks,” the Girls Next Door alum explains to Harvey, 59. “We’re through it now. Nothing ever happened physically. Like nothing even crossed the line … Just, like, mental chaos.”

While Baskett, 33, wasn’t completely cool with Wilkinson’s flirtations, he does acknowledge that he had to come to terms with the possibility of the former Playmate straying, given his own indiscretions.

As previously reported, the couple dealt with a highly publicized marital crisis in the summer of 2014, when Us Weekly confirmed that Baskett had cheated on the blonde beauty with a transgender model. The affair happened when Wilkinson was eight months pregnant with their daughter, Alijah, now 23 months. The two also share son Hank IV, 6.

“You know what? I had to learn my lesson and find out how valuable and important she is to my life, and I realized that,” the retired NFL star reflects in the sneak peek.

Baskett then goes on to say that although he made a mistake, he is positive that no one will ever love Wilkinson the way he does.

“No one will treat [Kendra] or understand [her] like I do,” the one-time athlete declares, before revealing that he pushed Wilkinson to make moves with different men. “I was like, ‘You go on out, and me and the kids will still be here. So you can make your decision. I’ll be here comfortable. Go play around if you want.’”
