New couple Harry Styles and Taylor Swift have the blessing of at least one VIP: Louis Tomlinson!
Us Weekly chatted with the One Direction singer, 20, at Z100's Jingle Ball (presented by Aeropostale) at NYC's Madison Square Garden Dec. 7 — where Payne offered his brief thoughts on bandmate Styles' romance with with Swift, 22.
"I'm happy they're good friends," Tomlinson told Us Weekly coyly. The singer-songwriter was first spotted with Styles, 18, in mid-November, and the pair have since been photographed holding hands in NYC — and insiders even saw them making out at dinner in the Big Apple earlier this week.
For his part, Payne told Us he's spent quality time with the "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" chanteuse, "and she's a really lovely girl," he gushed.
Tomlinson himself appears spoken for for the foreseeable future. He and University of Manchester student Eleanor Calder have been dating for a year and, according to one pal, will "be together forever. You get that feeling around them."
