Praying for Charlie Sheen. Shortly after Us Weekly confirmed the 50-year-old actor's HIV-positive status, his former Spin City costar and longtime friend Heather Locklear took to Instagram to send out a message of support.
"My heart hurts," the actress, 54, captioned a photograph of herself and Sheen in the past. "Prayers for Charlie and his family," she added.
As previously reported, Sheen is scheduled to talk about his health on the Today show this morning, Tuesday, Nov. 17.
But on Monday, Nov. 16, Us confirmed his diagnosis, and revealed that, according to a source, Sheen contracted the virus years go, after his divorce from ex-wife Denise Richards. The Vanity actress, 44, is believed to have known about his diagnosis for years. An insider has told Us that she and her children with the actor, Sam, 11, and Lola, 10, are not HIV-positive.
Us has also learned (and as reported by TMZ) that Sheen now believes that the virus is now “undetectable” in his blood.
