Hillary Clinton Invites You to ‘Trump Yourself’ With New Facebook App

Hillary Clinton’s campaign unveiled a new Facebook app called, simply, "Trump Yourself," on Thursday, July 21, just ahead of Donald Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

The social media tool allows users to superimpose insults that the Republican presidential nominee, 70, has used toward different individuals over the years onto their Facebook profile pictures.

Examples include “Fat Pig!” (Trump referred to Rosie O’Donnell as a “fat pig” in 2009) and “Hater and Loser,” terms he has called many people over the years. One option even includes the words “Donald Trump doesn’t think I should be able to get married,” in reference to LGBT rights.

The Twitter account for Clinton, 68, introduced the app with a no-holds-barred tweet.

“‘Dummy.’ ‘Slob.’ ‘Animal,’” the message reads. “Here’s what @realDonaldTrump has said about you: trumpyourself.org #TrumpYourself.”

Twitter users were quick to react — both positively and negatively — to the app.

Trump formally accepted his nomination as the Republican presidential candidate on Thursday, closing out a contentious four days that included a speech by his wife, Melania, that had parts that many have accused her of having plagiarized, and Ted Cruz defying the convention by refusing to endorse the business mogul.
