Knots Landing’s Donna Mills has reportedly made a substantial amount of money since joining OnlyFans just one month ago.
When Mills, 85, appeared on a Monday, August 24 episode of the “Creators Inc” podcast — which is produced by the OnlyFans management company, host and CEO Andy Bachman shared that the actress is “doing incredibly well” on the platform.
“Many six figures, and it’s been early,” Bachman said.
Mills, for her part, reflected on interacting with her fans in a different way through the platform.
“It’s really fun. I think the people that are going to come to me are probably different than the people that generally come to OnlyFans,” she explained. “I mean, I think some of the people are the same but I think there are new people. Hopefully I bring new people to this platform. It’s a treat for me to be able to interact with them.”
Mills theorized that her fans “want something different” from her than “most people on this platform.”
“They want to be friends. They want to know me. They want to know what I do during the day when I’m home. They want to see my home. They want to know much more about my personal life than we ever experienced back in the ’80s and the ’90s that the fans were cut off from,” she explained. “Now they’re invited in because of social media, because of the internet, all that. Now they’re invited in and they really like that.”
Mills made headlines in July when she announced that she would be joining the platform after appreciating the “incredible support and encouragement” from her fans through the years.
“Social media has been a wonderful way to stay connected, but I’m excited to join OnlyFans because it offers the opportunity for a more personal and direct connection,” Mills said in a statement to Variety at the time.
Mills explained that she would be “sharing moments from my daily life, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and engaging with fans in a more meaningful way” on OnlyFans.
“It’s simply another platform to spend quality time with the people who’ve supported me throughout my career while staying true to who I am,” she said.
Bachman, for his part, shared in a separate statement that Mills’ move is “not about changing who she is.”
“It is about giving her longtime fans more access to the personality, style and behind-the-scenes moments they already love,” Bachman said. “Donna has always been fearless and ahead of her time. She told me, ‘YOLO — let’s do it,’ and that perfectly captures her attitude. She is approaching OnlyFans on her own terms and creating a space that feels authentic, personal and completely true to her.”
