Knots Landing star Donna Mills is breaking down her reasons for wanting to launch an OnlyFans account.
“I’ve always appreciated the incredible support and encouragement I’ve received from my fans over the years. Social media has been a wonderful way to stay connected, but I’m excited to join OnlyFans because it offers the opportunity for a more personal and direct connection,” Mills said in a statement to Variety on Thursday, July 30.
Mills added that she will be “sharing moments from my daily life, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and engaging with fans in a more meaningful way” on her new platform.
“It’s simply another platform to spend quality time with the people who’ve supported me throughout my career while staying true to who I am,” she said.
In a separate statement, CEO and co-founder of Creators Inc. Andy Bachman shared that this move is “not about changing who she is.”
“It is about giving her longtime fans more access to the personality, style and behind-the-scenes moments they already love,” Bachman said. “Donna has always been fearless and ahead of her time. She told me, ‘YOLO — let’s do it,’ and that perfectly captures her attitude. She is approaching OnlyFans on her own terms and creating a space that feels authentic, personal and completely true to her.”
Mills started on TV in 1966 with a supporting role on CBS soap opera The Secret Storm, before going on to star as Abby Cunningham on the show Knots Landing. She subsequently won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2015 for outstanding special guest performer in a drama series when she appeared as Madeline Reeves on General Hospital.
Through the years, Mills has been candid about her cosmetic journey. In a 2025 episode of her “We’re Knot Done Yet” podcast, Mills confessed to getting a facelift done while on Knots Landing.
“Back when I was in my 40s, on Knots Landing, yes, I did a lift,” Mills admitted. “And it was subtle, but it lasted, you know. And I haven’t done anything since. Nothing since then.”
She continued, “But, you know, that’s why I say I think it’s better to do it then, and then, you know, don’t think about doing it anymore when you’re older. Also, skin isn’t as pliable when you’re older, so you can get kind of pulled looking.”
One year later, Mills publicly replied to a user who criticized her for wearing “too much makeup.” She responded via Instagram, “Did you want me to look like this?” Mills then appeared on the screen with gray hair and a white-button up blouse.
“Sorry, not sorry. I like the way I look. This is my style, and style doesn’t have an expiration date. Does it?” she concluded, adding in the caption, “I said what I said 🤍.”
