Forget black and blue or white and gold: Is this Bill Murray or Tom Hanks?! A photo submitted to the blog Reasons My Son Is Crying back in 2013 has resurfaced online and the internet can’t decide whether the man in question is Hanks or Murray.
In the photo, Hanks/Murray wears a bright orange windbreaker with a matching bucket hat and mimics the baby’s cry face.
“Why do tom hanks and Bill Murray look the same like I can’t tell them apart I’m worried,” one person commented on the photo on Facebook, while another added: “I swear that is Tom Hanks.”
Although a majority of Facebook commenters were convinced that the actor was two-time Oscar winner Hanks, the mother of the crying baby captioned the pic to clear all confusion.
“He met Bill Murray,” she wrote alongside the funny image. “Submitted by: Laura R. Location: St. Andrew’s, Scotland.”
While some were still not convinced it was indeed the Lost in Translation actor, another Facebook user concluded: “What I learned from the comments: When Bill Murray is crying, he starts to look like Tom Hanks.”
