Jamie-Lynn Sigler promises to have Christina Applegate’s back after claiming she was misdiagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

“You are so loved and appreciated and supported,” Sigler, 45, shared on the Tuesday, October 20, episode of the “MeSsy” podcast. “Me and this whole community are going to be here by your side as we figure this out, and even if you don’t — still.”

The Sopranos actress continued, “Everything’s just a name. I could have ‘MS.’ You could have something different, and our bodies could be very, very similar in what they’re battling and struggling with. Just give yourself grace.”

Earlier in the podcast, Applegate, 54, and Sigler were joined by Dr. Marwa Kaisey for a discussion on MS misdiagnoses.

During the discussion, Applegate revealed that her doctor recently told her she doesn’t have the autoimmune condition.

“It’s the same game with a different name. That’s what I keep saying,” Applegate said when discussing her mindset today. “I’m sure there are so many of our listeners too that have been misdiagnosed in some way. … There’s a lot. More than you’d think.”

Both Applegate and Sigler vowed to continue their podcast and feature a variety of guests, including doctors and stars from their favorite Bravo shows.

As Sigler joked on the podcast, “They are important people in this universe.”

When it comes to her close friend’s health and wellness, Sigler — who publicly shared her MS diagnosis in January 2016 — is hoping Applegate continues to make herself a priority.

“Maybe you’re just listening to your body right now. Maybe you’re just really in tune and taking care of yourself. I don’t know,” she said. “I’m going to keep trying to err on the side of positive for you because I just have this vision of a lot of possibilities for you. I want to hold that because you deserve that. I’m just so happy you’re back, and I don’t have to do this without you.”

As for Applegate, she’s determined to get answers into how she could experience such a major health revelation.

“You don’t get misdiagnosed and then all of a sudden I’m better,” she explained. “I haven’t gotten better, Jamie! If anything, I’ve gotten worse. So I’m back at square one where I don’t know what’s going on with me. And that’s going to be an online investigation that my doctors are going to be getting into just to find out what has been going on since 2021. Why did this happen?”
