The Jamies are married! Jamie Lynn Spears and fiance Jamie Watson exchanged vows on Friday, March 14 at the Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans, Louisiana, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
According to the insider, Spears' 5-year-old daughter Maddie was the flower girl and carried a bouquet of pink and white flowers. The blushing bride, 22, wore a v-neck wedding gown and "had her hair in a side part and pulled back in low bun," the eyewitness adds to Us. (E! was first to break the wedding news on Friday.)
As exclusively reported by Us, big sister Britney Spears helped fete Jamie Lynn's pending nuptials with a family dinner in the French Quarter of the southern city on Thursday, March 13. "It was a fancy restaurant but they tried to keep it very low-key," an insider told Us.
"Jamie Lynn and Jamie were very mellow," the eyewitness added of the adorable couple. "[They] spent most of the evening chatting with friends."
As previously reported, Spears and Watson obtained their marriage license in Louisiana on March 5 from Tangipahoa Parish Clerk of Court in Louisiana.
This was the first trip down the aisle for the aspiring country singer, who announced she was engaged to Watson — her boyfriend of three years — via Twitter in March 2013. (Jamie Lynn was previously engaged to Maddie's father, Casey Aldridge, but the two split in 2010.)
