Jana Kramer has found herself questioning what she does next in the beauty work as she prepares to turn 43.

“I haven’t touched Botox in two and a half years. I’ve just been debating what to do, like, wanting to age gracefully,” Kramer, 42, revealed on the Tuesday, October 27, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Bill and Giuliana” podcast. “But now I’m at that point where I’m like, ‘Whew, like, OK. I’m really starting to see the wrinkles now.’ I don’t know what to do, and I don’t like it.”

As Kramer continues raising her three kids, the former One Tree Hill star finds herself comparing her journey to other mothers.

“I see other moms and I’m like, ‘All right, well, they’re definitely filler Botox.’ You can tell, and it’s fine,” she told podcast host Giuliana Rancic. “But I also don’t like the frozen face. I don’t like the way it feels. It feels too heavy. And with acting, I still need to have my face be able to move and stuff.”

In a previous episode of her own iHeartRadio “Whine Down” podcast, Kramer revealed that she had her “boobs done.”

As for how she stays in shape, the country singer said she loves to work out.

“Actually, I wanted a tummy tuck. [My husband] Allan [Russell] straight up wouldn’t let me,” Kramer said in a June 2025 episode. “I’ve always wanted one … [But] I’m glad I didn’t do it.”

When discussing plastic surgery, Kramer told women to “get whatever you want to get.” For now, she has no regrets about what she did — or didn’t — get done.

As Kramer prepares to turn 43 in December, she joked about not reaping the benefits of aging.

“My blood work just came back and I’m in the start of perimenopause and I can feel it,” she said. “It feels out of body. I feel rageful. I feel brain fog, all the things.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, perimenopause is the time before menopause when a woman’s body is getting ready to stop having periods. Women start perimenopause at different ages, but some may notice signs in their 40s.

As her body continues to evolve, Kramer said she continues to find gratitude in everything it has accomplished across four decades.

“I know I feel better than probably my 60-year-old body is going to feel,” she explained. “I’m trying to find the gratefulness and the balance of where I’m at too.”
