Although Derulo was at first hesitant to talk about the news (he told radio host Big D "I'd rather not" when first asked about the split) he did say that they'll remain friends.
"Everything is cool man," Derulo said when asked if the two will stay pals. "It's not a bad situation, it's not one of those kinds of things," he added.
