He didn't talk about his new relationship with Michelle Williams on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno Friday, but Jason Segel definitely had the actress on his mind.

After taping his segment on the talk show, The Five-Year Engagement actor, 32, was spotted holding his iPhone with pictures of Williams, 31, taped on the back. The phrase "I love you" was written around the photos. See more pics of his iPhone art.

For Williams, the feeling is mutual. "Michelle old one friend, 'I love him!'" a source recently told Us Weekly.

Friends say it wasn't easy for Williams to allow herself to fall in love again, as she "had a lot to recover from" following the January 2008 death of Heath Ledger, her ex-fiance and father of their daughter Matilda, now 6.

Ledger's sudden death at age 28 "took a huge toll on her," another insider said. "She is a romantic and and always felt partly responsible for not being able to help Heath."

Segel — who's been linked to Michelle Trachtenberg and Linda Cardellini in the past — is the perfect person for Williams, a pal told Us. "Jason has already shown her his commitment to her."

The new couple have known each other "for years" through Williams' BFF Busy Philipps, Segel's costar on Freaks and Geeks. "They're much more serious than everybody thinks," an insider explained. "They're really happy!"
