Jax Taylor has legally requested a judge grant him a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright.
According to court documents obtained by Us, Taylor, 47, asked the court to deny Cartweight’s temporary restraining order and instead order that she stay more than 100 yards away from him and his home. (Cartwright, 37, was granted a temporary restraining order against Taylor in August, alleging several instances of domestic violence. Taylor broke his silence shortly after the order was granted, admitted to regrettable behavior while denying his estranged wife’s claims.)
Among the former reality TV star’s allegations made against his ex, the documents alleged that Cartwright contacted the Fox Network and “caused the cancellation” of Taylor’s $175,000 role on the hit series Special Forces the night of his departure.
The documents alleged that Cartwright “falsely told tens of millions of viewers on Watch What Happens Live” that he “skipped his custodial weekend” with their son “to visit his girlfriend, a statement she knew to be false when she made it because the weekend in question was her custodial weekend.”
In his filing, Taylor went on to claim that Cartwright contacted an autism-awareness nonprofit that he wanted to partner with and allegedly caused the organization to “sever ties with him.”
In Taylor’s declaration, he wrote that Cartwright has repeatedly referred to him as “an abuser” and noted that she “seems determined to make this a label that sticks, even though [he has] done nothing to deserve this.”

Taylor and Cartwright were married from 2019 until their separation in 2024. Taylor has since moved on with their once-shared publicist, Lori Krebs. In text messages obtained by TMZ on Tuesday, September 1, Cartwright was allegedly upset with her estranged husband for bringing Krebs around their son.
In the texts, Taylor allegedly wrote in his defense, “Your sick brain thought it was OK to have a random guy sleep in the same house with my son … a guy you had to pay to be your boyfriend non the less.”
Cartwright reportedly replied by telling Taylor that he signed a court document stating he wouldn’t bring a new woman around their son for the first six months of their relationship, writing, “You broke the law Lori is to never be around my son.”
Taylor went on to claim that Krebs has been around since Cruz was born.
“I am also telling my lawyer if you don’t allow me to take him to Michigan he will never set foot in Kentucky again,” he reportedly wrote, to which Cartwright allegedly replied, “You are not to have anyone around Cruz including her.”
