Look out, baby Hitler! Presidential hopeful Jeb Bush didn’t hesitate when posed with the ethical dilemma plaguing many Americans’ hearts and minds: Would you go back in time and kill baby Hitler if you could?
The New York Times Magazine originally asked the question to its readers in late October and received some pretty even results. At the time 42 percent said yes, 30 said no, and 28 said they weren’t sure.
But Bush, 62, who is currently vying for the Republican nomination in the 2016 presidential election, had no problem answering the question when the Huffington Post asked him.
“Hell yeah, I would!” the former Florida governor told the site. “You gotta step up, man.”
His response caused “Baby Hitler” to trend on Twitter for a second time after the original poll caused a mass social media reaction.

“It could have a dangerous effect on everything else, but I’d do it — I mean, Hitler,” Bush added, noting that killing baby Hitler would have unknown consequences (no World War II, anyone?).
