The Step Up actress is lending a helping hand to the hospital’s St. Jude Thanks and Giving campaign. Now in its 13th year, the annual campaign encourages turning the holidays into a time of giving thanks and raises awareness and money to help the hospital battle childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. The holiday campaign teams up with more than 70 leading national brands where consumers can shop to help support the hospital, and asks supporters to share what they are thankful for on social media using #GiveThanks.

“It’s incredible coming here. I love coming here and working with the kids,” Dewan Tatum says in an exclusive Us Weekly first look at her St. Jude campaign video. “I can’t imagine a more peaceful feeling than walking into a hospital like this with your child you love more than anything in the entire world that is sick and them going, ‘Don’t worry about it. You don’t need to worry about paying for this.’” (Families who seek treatment at St. Jude never receive a bill.)
