She’s smitten! Jennifer Lawrence gushed over her film director boyfriend, Darren Aronofsky, in a new interview with Vanity Fair for the magazine’s holiday issue cover story.
The 26-year-old actress opened up to the magazine about her upcoming film roles and seemed particularly enthused about acting in Aronofsky’s upcoming movie Mother, set to be released in 2017.
“He is a visionary,” Lawrence said, adding that she accepted the role even before reading the script.
"I don't like waking up with nothing to do or going to sleep without accomplishing anything," J. Law explained of her thought process when choosing whether to say yes or no to projects. "That really depresses me."
According to the Hunger Games alum, she wanted to work with Aronofsky, 47, ever since the release of his Oscar-winning 2010 film, Black Swan.
As previously reported, Lawrence and Aronofsky first sparked dating rumors back in October when they were spotted having a cozy dinner together at Los Angeles’ Commissary restaurant. The pair took their romance public in New York City earlier this month during two PDA-filled outings.
On November 2, the newly minted couple shared a lollipop while walking Lawrence’s Chihuahua, Pippi. And on November 3, the Academy Award winner and the intense filmmaker kissed each other outside a flower shop. The duo — who reportedly met this summer on the set of Mother — “get along really well,” a pal of Lawrence's told Us Weekly.
The insider also told Us that Lawrence, who previously dated Coldplay frontman Chris Martin and her X-Men costar Nicholas Hoult, has already met Aronofsky’s 10-year-old son, Henry, whom he shares with ex-fiancée Rachel Weisz.
