Jennifer Lopez may not be dating her Office Romance costar Brett Goldstein, but there is an undeniable spark between them.
“She and Brett have great chemistry, and that made working together on set easy and enjoyable,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. “It was instant chemistry from their first call about the project. She thinks he’s incredibly charming, talented and just a really good guy.”
While the insider insists there is “nothing romantic going on between them besides flirtation,” Lopez’s inner circle believes Goldstein, 45, is a total catch.
“Jen’s friends joke with her that she should give him a chance because they think he’d be a great match for her,” the source tells Us.
Despite her pals’ hopes, Lopez, 56, is not looking for love at the moment.
“J. Lo is in a really good place right now and has pretty much sworn off dating for the time being,” the insider shares. “She is usually in a relationship, so she’s genuinely enjoying this time being single and focusing on herself.”
Us Weekly has reached out to reps for Lopez and Goldstein for comment.
In the upcoming Netflix rom-com Office Romance, Lopez plays airline CEO Jackie Cruz, who secretly falls in love with a lawyer at her company, Daniel Blanchflower (Goldstein).
“When we first met on the Zoom, it was instant. We were laughing,” the Ted Lasso star said of the Grammy nominee during a Tuesday, June 2, appearance on the Today show. “I was like, ‘OK, it’s going to be great.'”
So great, in fact, that the pair instantly sparked dating rumors while promoting the movie.
“There’s never a time when I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person,” Lopez told Savannah Guthrie during the same interview.
After Guthrie, 54, pressed Lopez to set the record straight once and for all, the “On the Floor” singer replied, “Not dating,” to which Goldstein confirmed, “Correct.”
Lopez has been single since finalizing her divorce from Ben Affleck in 2025. The Gigli costars first dated from 2002 to 2004 before getting back together in 2021. Lopez and Affleck, 53, wed in 2022, only to separate again in 2024.
Prior to the Oscar winner, the Hustlers star was married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003 and Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014. She and Anthony, 57, share 18-year-old twins Max and Emme.
Goldstein, for his part, was previously in a relationship with fellow actor and comedian Beth Rylance. They reportedly split in 2022.
Office Romance debuts on Netflix Friday, June 5.
