Can’t promote on an empty stomach! Leah Remini spent some much-needed BFF time with Jennifer Lopez just hours before the release of her tell-all, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology. The It’s All Relative reality star posted a hilarious video of Lopez cooking up a storm via Instagram on Monday, Nov. 2.
“My cute girl @jlo making us dinner #boricua #NYLACrew,” Remini, 45, captioned the cute footage.
The King of Queens actress kept Lopez, 46, laughing as she prepared the food. The makeup-free “Booty” singer got her hands dirty while adding flavor to some meat.
“There’s my girl!” Remini joked. “Making some Puerto Rican food for everyone. Just a normal Puerto Rican girl at home cooking a meal.”
Remini and Lopez have been the best of friends for over a decade, with Remini even writing about the singer in her new book. As previously reported, Remini claims that the Church of Scientology once tried to recruit the superstar. In 2006, Remini was asked to bring the singer to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes‘ wedding.
Remini’s tell-all is chock-full of more revealing allegations. Scientology has debunked her claims, but the pushback doesn’t seem to be bothering her. On Monday, she also had fun belting out some tunes during a car ride.
“My team and sissy @nicole_remini @crabichuk @jaiartistry and this poor insta-less/Twitter-less man (Elie) who has to put up with us,” Remini wrote at the time. “#TeamTroublemaker.”
