Valentine's Day is just a little over a week away, but it looks like Jessa Duggar's husband Ben Seewald got the lovefest started early. The 19 Kids and Counting star, 22, took to Instagram recently to share a romantic note from her spouse of three months, complete with little heart drawings.
Handwritten in impressively neat cursive, the note expresses, in gushing detail, all the things Seewald loves about his new bride. "He writes the sweetest love letters…" she captioned the pic. "You're a gem! I'm so blessed to be your wife!"
"My Dearest Jessa," the note begins. "When you smile at me, it takes my breath away, like my heart has been touched by an angel. Your eyes sparkle like the first stars on a dark night. Your smile brightens my spirit like the first gleams of sunrise after a crisp autumn night in the Arkansas Ozarks."
"But the most wonderful thing about when you smile at me," the letter continues, "is that it shines forth radiant beams of warmest love and affection…it's worth a thousand words, even the most eloquent words of affirmation. Your smile could melt the age old ice cap of Antarctica. I love you more than fondest words and fair speech can express. Love, Ben."
Seewald and his reality star wife tied the knot on Nov. 1 in their native Arkansas, with more than 1,000 guests in attendance — including her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, and her 18 brothers and sisters (plus sister-in-law Anna Duggar, brother-in-law Derick Dillard, three nieces and nephews, and grandmother Mary).
All 28 family members appear in a new wedding photo posted to Jessa's Instagram on Wednesday, Feb. 4. In the pic, the bride and her groom share a sweet kiss as the rest of the brood look on in faux shock. (As fans of the Duggars know, the kids aren't allowed to kiss until marriage. In fact, they have to wait until they're engaged before even holding hands.)
"Lol! We always have to do at least one goofy shot," Duggar captioned the pic. "Gotta love those family photos!"
