This might not be the kind of father-daughter bonding Jesse James had in mind. The former West Coast Choppers CEO admitted in an email to RadarOnline.com that his oldest daughter Chandler, 18, has been following in her old man's troubled footsteps — straight into rehab.
"My daughter spent the month of April in a treatment facility getting help for addiction," James told the site via email. "She is out now and in recovery, actively participating in a 12-step AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) program."
James' candid admission comes hot on the heels of a series of recently surfaced photos that show Chandler snorting a substance off a piece of aluminum foil at a friend's party in Austin, Tex. earlier this year.
Chandler is James' daughter with first wife Karla. James is also father to Jesse Jr., 14, by Karla, and Sunny, 9, by his second wife, porn star Janine Lindemulder.
James, 43, called the incident and Chandler's consequent rehab stint a "matter that is close to my heart."
Sandra Bullock's ex-husband is also in a 12-step program and recently shared his triumph in being 13 years sober on his blog.
"Everything always seems to come to a head the closer it gets to getting another year clean," he wrote. "But I always see the light at the end of the tunnel. Please do this for me. If you guys and gals know somebody that struggles with drinking or drugs or any kind of addiction please just help them, don't judge them. Just give them help."
James also previously did a stint in rehab for his sex addiction back in 2010 in an attempt to save his marriage to the Oscar-winning actress. Earlier in the year, James made headlines after admitting to having an affair with tattooed temptress Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and numerous other women.
Bullock ultimately pulled the plug on their five-year marriage later that year, though she remained a devoted stepmom to James' three children til the end, even fighting for custody of James' youngest daughter Sunny in 2010.
