Jessica Simpson and boyfriend Thomas Eisenhood enjoyed a rare day date while exploring New Mexico, marking their first public outing together.
Simpson, 46, and Eisenhood, 33, were spotted at Albuquerque’s Balloon Fiesta Park on Sunday, October 4, according to photos published by TMZ.
The couple blended in with the crowd as they looked at the giant hot-air balloons ahead of their ascension. Simpson wore a fringe suede jacket over a long-sleeved denim shirt and a white tee.
The “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer carried a red sweater and wore small oval sunglasses. She topped off her look with a few bangles on her wrist and large rings on her fingers.
Eisenhood, a Nashville-based musician, was dressed more casually in a red hooded sweatshirt as he carried a camera.
According to the outlet, Simpson and Eisenhood took selfies with the hot-air balloons in the background and cozied up for another picture when a sightseer offered to photograph them.
Eisenhood was later seen using his camera to shoot Simpson as the sun rose with the Sandia Mountains in the background, per the publication.
The pair’s trip to New Mexico comes six months after Us confirmed Simpson was dating Eisenhood following her separation from husband Eric Johnson.
Simpson announced her split from Johnson, 47, in January 2025.
“Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage,” she told Us in a statement at the time. “Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”
The estranged couple, who have yet to file for divorce, were married for 10 years before calling it quits. They share three children: daughter Maxwell Drew, 14, son Ace Knute, 13, and daughter Birdie Mae, 7.
Us confirmed in April that Simpson had moved on romantically with Eisenhood and that they’d been quietly dating for several months.
“Tom was on tour with Jessica on and off for the past few months,” a source exclusively told Us in June of the pair’s low-key romance.
The insider added, “Tom has been in the music industry for a long time,” referring to his time with the band Stoop Kids from 2012 to 2023.
“He tours a lot, so they spent a lot of time together by working closely,” the source said. “He is a very low-key guy, and Jessica likes that about him.”
