Jimmy Fallon Hospitalized, Underwent Minor Surgery for Hand Injury

Jimmy Fallon was hospitalized on Friday, June 26, but he’s going to A-OK.

The Tonight Show host had to have minor surgery after injuring his hand at his Manhattan apartment this morning, his rep told Us Weekly. He’s expected to make a full recovery.

The funnyman updated fans on social media in the afternoon, sharing a photo of his bandaged hand and explaining how the accident happened.

The snafu comes after the dad to daughters Frances and Winnie dined at the Upper East Side eatery Scalinatella Thursday night, where he happily posed for pics with fans. An insider tells Us his injury is unrelated to his evening.

According to another source, Fallon had to cancel today’s taping of The Tonight Show.
