Joe Jonas gave a rare shoutout to girlfriend Tatiana Gabriela while sharing a story about a recent date they had.
“So we’re sitting there, me and Tati,” Joe, 36, said during the Thursday, July 2, episode of his “Hey Jonas” podcast with brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas, revealing his nickname for the Puerto Rican model, 28. “We’re having a nice glass of orange wine. Actually, I was having a Guinness. She was having an orange wine, and we were sharing a charcuterie board. It was actually just a pickle board.”
Joe then shared that he had been on a FaceTime call with Nick, 33, discussing something “serious” when a fan came up to their table and asked for a photo. He politely declined the request because he was on the phone, but felt guilty once he hung up and attempted to find the fan in the restaurant.
“I turned around, and I was like, ‘Excuse me, let’s get that picture now,’” he continued. “And she goes, ‘What?’ … She’s like, ‘I didn’t ask you for a picture.’ I could have sworn it was the same person. So I just looked at a random person and I was like, ‘Hey, want to get that picture now?’”
Joe’s rare mention of Gabriela comes amid their private romance, which began last year, Us Weekly exclusively reported in January.
“They started seeing each other at the end of the summer,” a source told Us at the time, revealing Gabriela had already been introduced to Joe’s friends, family and his two daughters with ex-wife Sophie Turner. (Us reached out to reps for Joe and Gabriela for comment at the time.)
Joe hinted at his romance with Gabriela shortly after New Year’s by “liking” one of her posts and commenting a drooling emoji.
Weeks later, Joe appeared to soft-launch the relationship via his Instagram page by sharing a photo of a woman’s foot in a high heel nuzzled up to his own shoe. Gabriela later made her official debut on his feed by appearing in a black-and-white photo booth snap alongside her man.
Prior to his relationship with Gabriela, Joe was married to Turner, 30, from 2019 to September 2023, when they announced their split.
“After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage,” the exes wrote in a joint statement at the time. “There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision, and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
The “Work It Out” singer and Game of Thrones actress settled their divorce in September 2024.
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the U.K.,” they told Us in a statement at the time. “We look forward to being great coparents.”
Joe shared an update on coparenting with Turner during a June episode of the “Hey Jonas” podcast.
“I’m a single dad and I coparent with my children’s mother,” he said. “I think my children have given me purpose again in my life.”
The Jonas Brothers singer added, “There’s a lot of people in my situation that are single parents and go through this, and I’m grateful that I have a coparent that I can balance even the bad days. But I think being able to have good people around me to kind of help me navigate it is really special.”
