Forget private islands! It turns out Johnny Depp owns an entire French village. The Mortdecai star, 52, recently put his Plan de la Tour estate up for sale for close to $26 million, the Los Angeles Times reports.
The estate is comprised of a 37-acre property that includes a “complete Provencal village of stone-built houses dating back more than 200 years.”
The property is located about 17 miles from Saint Tropez and Depp purchased it in 2001. According to the LA Times, he has spent $10 million on improvements, including a wine-tasting cave that is decorated to look like a Pirates of the Caribbean set.
The estate features more than a dozen buildings including a main house, guest cottages, a chapel, a bar, a restaurant, and a workshop, and a garage. It is 10,760 square feet and boasts 12 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.
Some of Depp’s personal belongings will be included in the sale of the property.
