Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher got her happily ever after but there are plenty of fans who are fuming over her decision to choose Jordan Rodgers over Robby Hayes.
The 25-year-old picked the NFL quarterback, 27, on the season 12 finale of the dating show on Monday, August 1, leaving the hunky competitive swimmer heartbroken. (Watch the romantic proposal in the video above!)
During his appearance on After the Final Rose, he had the chance to confront Fletcher about why she made him feel like he was going to win.
“Speaking of closure, you know, watching back the final rose … you say a lot of things that make me think that it should have been us,” Hayes told Fletcher during their sit-down. “[You said] that you love me, that your family thought it should’ve been me. … I’m asking now, with the time that has passed, is there anything that’s more clear as to why one love was stronger than the one love we had?”
But Fletcher was quick to tell him, that her heart was “always with Jordan.”
“I just couldn’t imagine ever saying goodbye to him,” she said tearfully.
