Jon Gosselin donned a hot pink dress to play dress up with his daughters on Monday's episode of Jon & Kate Plus 8.

At first the newly single dad, 32, resisted dressing in drag.
"No, I'm not wearing girl clothing. I'm sorry," he says. "I'm not putting a dress on…not on TV, not ever."

But his eight-year-old twins convinced him.
"I was like, well it's for my girls and it's for Mady and Cara," he tells the cameras after slipping on the cotton frock.
"Look at Daddy! You're funny!" one of his sextuplets says giggling — while pointing out his stomach and joking he's pregnant. Quipped Jon, "C'mon, my water's gonna break."

"Daddy was a mommy!" adds the little girl.
On a serious note, Jon spoke out about how his kids are adjusting to his split from Kate, 34, and his life in New York City.
"You know, I love being home with my kids but I also like being in New York where it's quiet, and getting things done, and that's where things happen," he says.
"At home you're taking care of nine people," Jon goes on. "It's a lot of work, you know, and I'm starting to learn the balance and stuff like that, starting to get, like, the custody schedule down. And I think the kids are starting to understand it more and what's going on and how mommy and daddy are working things out. I mean, we will always be there for them, you know, just not at the same time."

Meanwhile, Kate took the boys to a dude ranch in Wyoming. She even learned how to shoot a gun.
"I really just thought I was signing up for a boys' trip but this is seriously amazing. Wow," she says. "You see this stuff in books, and I'm here to tell you it really does exist, isn't this just crazy? This really could make me cry actually."
