His face says it all! Joseph Gordon-Levitt couldn’t stop beaming while talking about his newborn son in a recent interview. The new dad finally opened up about fatherhood on Thursday, Oct. 8, while promoting his new movie Snowden.
“It’s wonderful and it makes me really happy,” Gordon-Levitt, 34, told Entertainment Tonight. “I am just so happy.”
Us Weekly broke the news in August that the former child star and his wife, Tasha McCauley, secretly welcomed their first child together. “Everyone’s happy and healthy,” an insider told Us at the time.
Gordon-Levitt and the technology entrepreneur, 34, were just as tight-lipped about their surprise nuptials in December 2014. “It’s a really healthy and normal relationship,” a source previously told Us. “You can tell he adores her. She’s beautiful and smart. Really one of those full-package girls.”
Last month, the Dark Knight Rises star briefly discussed their home wedding ceremony during an interview with Playboy. “It wasn’t that difficult because we didn’t tell many people about it,” he said at the time. “As much as some people may disagree, I don’t believe a person’s private life — even a person in entertainment — is a public performance.”
