Home is where the heart is. Newly single Josh Murray is finding comfort at home with his mom following his split from fiancée Andi Dorfman. The former Bachelorette contestant was spotted looking somber while walking his beloved bulldog Sabel with his mom near their family home in Tampa, Fla., on Tuesday, Jan. 13.
Wearing a baseball cap, T-shirt, and bright shorts, the 30-year-old former athlete kept his head down as he talked with his mom. “Off to Tampa with my mama, can't wait to see my baby Sabel 🙂 #MansBestFriend,” the reality star tweeted the day before.
As previously reported by Us Weekly, the now-exes revealed in a joint statement on Jan. 8 that they’d decided to call off their engagement, just five months after their fairytale proposal aired on the season 10 finale of The Bachelorette.
"After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways," their statement to Us. "We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best."
Following their announcement, Murray’s mom posted on Facebook that she trusts “The Lord has an even better journey for each of them” and that she’s "happy they figured this out before getting married and having kids."
