You gotta do what you gotta do. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth had to keep tight-lipped about their engagement before The Bachelorette finale — but that doesn’t mean they didn’t step out together. The newly engaged couple appeared to go undercover in wigs so they wouldn’t get caught by diehard fans.
“Maybe the other week wasn’t our first time out in public!!?” Bristowe, 29, captioned an Instagram photo on Thursday, Aug. 13. “#bonnieandclyde @shawn_booth18.”
In the hilarious snapshot, Bristowe wore a platinum blonde wig in a blunt bob while the personal trainer, 28, rocked a shoulder-length brunette ‘do. They also both donned hats and sunglasses.
Bristowe and Booth’s disguises may have concealed their identities and prevented potential spoilers with their outings,, but they weren’t as careful with their phones. Halfway through Season 11, the dance instructor shared a sexy Snapchat photo of Booth by accident.
“We were sending Snaps to one of the producers. [And then] I pick up my phone to go on Twitter, and there’s hundreds of pictures of my stupid face laying in bed with her,” Booth said during a Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance on July 27. “I started having a panic attack. I couldn’t even breathe.”
Bristowe quipped: “If we meant to do it, it would have looked a lot better.”
