Penny is keeping positive! Kaley Cuoco addressed finalizing her divorce from tennis pro Ryan Sweeting during an appearance on CBS This Morning on Tuesday, May 10.
“You know what, I’m not ashamed of anything that happened. I fall in love really hard, I do. I go deep. That person is it for me. And I love hard, and when it’s over, it’s over, and some people make mistakes,” Cuoco, 30, said.

“[I] wouldn’t call it a mistake, it just is what happened in my life, so I’m excited to see what the future holds,” she continued. “It happened, and now I have to say I’m happier than I’ve ever been.”
The Big Bang Theory actress and Sweeting, 28, separated after 21 months of marriage in September 2015. The estranged couple finalized their divorce on Friday, May 6, leaving Cuoco with two of their homes. She was ordered to pay a $195,000 bill for his two personal trainers and up to $55,000 in attorneys fees.
On Tuesday, Cuoco didn’t give a clear answer when asked if the exes are still friends. “Everything ended the way it was supposed to,” she said.

The 8 Simple Rules alum has moved on since the split. She briefly dated Arrow star Paul Blackthorne late last year and is now dating fellow equestrian Karl Cook, 25.
“He’s special,” Cuoco said, blushing. “I think the horse connection is special.”
