Mad daddy. Kate Upton told Vogue UK in its June 2015 issue that she was annoyed with fashion photographer Terry Richardson for releasing her career-launching "Cat Daddy" video without her consent.
The 2012 video, which featured a bikini-clad Upton playfully executing the dance, catapulted the little-known model into the spotlight.
In mere days, the video — along with the "Cat Daddy" dance itself — went viral, attracting 21 million-plus hits on YouTube since its release. Despite the instant success of the behind-the-scenes clip, Upton, 22, was not happy at the time with Richardson, 49.
"I was like, 'That was disrespectful, you could have told me!'" Upton recalled of her conversation with the controversial photog.

Three years — and two Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue covers — later, Upton has let go of her grudge. "Now, obviously, it's fine," she noted.
In fact, the buxom blonde has proved her prowess on the big screen, too, starring in her first feature film alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in 2014's The Other Woman.
A-lister (and newlywed!) Diaz praised Upton's acting abilities, saying the Michigan native had an innate talent. "Her improv is off the hoof," Diaz, 42, told Vogue UK. "She completely leans into the character and she knows it, she knows how to read the situation and deliver right to her character for that moment. We were all like, 'Who are you? Where did you come from!'"
As for her personality off the camera? "Oh, 1,000 percent she's a girl's girl," the Holiday actress noted. "Leslie and Kate and I were like a litter of kittens, always piled on top of each other. We always have each other's back on everything."
