Hold up! Kelly Clarkson just dominated Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money.” The American Idol alum completely stole the show during a performance at the BBC1 Radio Live Lounge on Wednesday, June 3.
"On the way to @BBCR1 to record my #LiveLounge!! So excited for this! Here's a hint of my cover song choice. 😉 #ballinonabudget," the “Heartbeat Song” singer captioned an Instagram of herself with a handful of 20-dollar bills prior to totally nailing Rihanna’s new jam.
Clarkson, who recently released her seventh studio album, Piece By Piece, switched the track up a bit, offering a jazz twist to the catchy tune.
The country crooner also made the song a bit more family-friendly, swapping the word “bitch” for “y’all.”
