Kelly Clarkson and Husband Enjoy Date Night — With Mother-in-Law Reba McEntire

Kelly Clarkson keeps her date nights family-focused — literally! Stepping out with her husband of two years, music manager Brandon Blackstock, at Muhammad Ali's Annual Celebrity Fight Night March 28 in Phoenix, Ariz., the "Piece by Piece" songstress enjoyed a double date night with none other than her famous mother-in-law Reba McEntire, who is Blackstock's stepmother.

Showing off her noticeably slimmer physique in an Instagram pic with her hubby, new mom Clarkson — clad in a lace blouse and floral printed skirt — clearly relished her night out with Blackstock. "Me and my baby [on the] second night of Celebrity Fight Night! We bid on an amazing Italy vacation and won!" she wrote along with the pic.

Also during the event, the mom of 9-month-old daughter River Rose concluded her performance by leading the crowd in a round of 'happy birthday' to mark McEntire’s 60th birthday.

Clarkson’s weekend fun didn't stop with her Fight Night appearance. On Sunday, the American Idol alum appeared on NBC's iHeartRadio Music Awards, performing her latest single, "Heartbeat Song," which she penned while pregnant with her daughter. Prior to the gig, Clarkson proved that a mother's work is never done, when her nap was interrupted (albeit adorably!) by River Rose.

“Trying to take a nap before the IHeart Radio Awards ….haha didn't work :)" Clarkson wrote on Instagram, along with a sweet photo of Blackstock and their daughter fawning over the drowsy singer.

As Clarkson tried to snooze in peace, perhaps River wanted mommy to offer up a lullaby or two. "She's so weird, she loves loud music to go to sleep to," Clarkson has said. "She's the perfect tour baby. She goes to rehearsals, and when we all start playing, she goes to sleep. And when we stop, she starts crying."
