How sweet it is! Kelly Clarkson shared the first photos of her newborn son, Remington “Remy” Alexander, with fans via Twitter on Saturday, April 23, and couldn’t resist gushing about her adorable little guy.
“Meet Remy, our newest edition to the family! #charmfordays #watchoutladies,” she captioned the two black-and-white snapshots.
In one image, the tiny tot looks sleepy and smug being held by Clarkson’s husband, Brandon Blackstock, his tiny hands holding on to his daddy’s arm.
Another photo shows Clarkson, 34, giving her son a tender kiss on the forehead as he’s swaddled in a knit blanket.
The American Idol alum and Blackstock, 39, welcomed Remy to the world earlier this month and proudly announced their happy baby news on Thursday, April 14.
“Our little baby boy has arrived!!” Clarkson tweeted at the time. “Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn’t be happier or more in love!”

The “Heartbeat Song” singer first announced her pregnancy in August during an emotional performance at L.A.’s Staples Center.
“I was not planning on announcing this but I’m totally pregnant,” she said on stage. “I didn’t want you to think I was on pills or something! Everything is great. I haven’t vomited yet, that’s a win!”
The couple, who wed in October 2013, are already the parents of daughter River Rose, 22 months. Blackstock is also the dad of daughter Savannah, 14, and son Seth, 8, from a previous relationship.
