Days after her very public feud with former costar Holly Madison, Kendra Wilkinson explained in a new interview that she regrets “reacting emotionally” on Twitter.
The Kendra on Top star, 30, lashed out at Madison, 36, on Thursday, May 12, in a series of harsh, NSFW tweets, in which she claimed that her former Playboy Mansion housemate was the “clean up girl” who was responsible for getting ex Hugh Hefner “hard again.”
She later deleted the rant and apologized to her 2.6 million followers, but not to Madison herself.
“I apologized because I was in a frame of mind where I was just reacting emotionally, and I just blew up,” she explained in an interview with Jenny McCarthy on SiriusXM on Friday, May 13. “That’s something that I’m trying to control. I’m trying to, like, be better at doing, and I failed at doing that yesterday. I became 21 again.”
The reality star later defended Hefner, 90, noting that he “did nothing wrong,” despite Madison’s previous claims that she lived in fear at the Mansion.
“I made the choice to sleep with an 80-year-old man for some money,” she said. “He did everything right for me. I’m going to be his soldier out here. I love him to death and I appreciate everything he’s done for me. He’s done zero harm, in my eyes, to anyone that I’ve ever seen. His intentions were only to make everybody happy.”
Wilkinson continued, “It was just a woman’s choice to be there and f–k him. That’s it! I mean, that was everybody’s choice. What do you think you’re gonna do? You’re moving into the Playboy Mansion and dating a guy who has multiple girlfriends.”
The Vegas Diaries author also spoke out about the Playboy editor in chief in an interview with Us Weekly Video on Thursday, in which she added, “I’m going to fight for Hef. That’s my job. … He’s done nothing wrong … [Holly] lived at the Playboy Mansion, people, not a church.”
