Daddy issues. Khloé Kardashian joked about the paternity rumors that have plagued her for years about whether her biological father is Robert Kardashian or his famous client O.J. Simpson.
The reality star, 32, who is definitely Robert’s child, posted a selfie with the Snapchat puppy filter on Instagram on Thursday, October 13. A commenter wrote, "I don't know why but you look white in this picture." The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star showed she has a sense of humor about it by responding, "I don't know… Some days I'm OJs daughter. Others I'm Roberts daughter."
Back in 2013, Ellen Pierson, Robert's wife at the time of his death in 2003, sold excerpts from the lawyer's private journal to a tabloid. She also gave an interview and claimed that Robert, who passed away at age 59 from esophageal cancer, confessed to her that he wasn't Khloé's biological dad. (Robert and Khloé's mom, Kris Jenner, were married from 1978 to 1991.)
The Strong Looks Better Naked author opened up about the topic on an episode of Kocktails With Khloé in March. "I think the thing that most became overwhelming was when, like, the stuff happened with one of my dad's wives," she said. "She wanted to come out, like, 10 years later after my dad passed away and said that I'm not his daughter and that he confided in her and blah-say-blah. I was like, 'Listen, you can talk about me and my sisters all you f–king want.' Do not talk about my dad. … He's not here!"
Khloé is not the only member of her family who has joked about the gossip. When another tabloid ran a cover alleging that Simpson was Khloé's father in 2012, Kim Kardashian joked, "Now we have all the answers. It makes sense now! Khloe u are so tan!"
